Bonobo is an established name within the scene, with countless highly acclaimed productions. If you don’t know Bonobo, I suggest you check out some of  his earlier albums, with songs like Silver. Since a day, the Bonobo website has been showing a mysterious countdown.

While there is not much known about this, most people suspect the countdown to indicate the release of his new album. The audience got a glimpse of the new album a few days ago, when the first single, named Cirrus, aired on Gilles Petersons BBC Radio 6 program on Jan 19, 2013. The single sounds more electronic and minimal than his previous productions, which were leaning more towards chillhop. It’s a surprising new side of Bonobo, and we will be anxiously awaiting the countdown to see what mister Simon Green has in store for us. Stay tuned!
