Sholz is a DJ and producer from Lagos, Nigeria.

His sound varies from Dilla-inspired hip hop beats to soulful dance music with an African bounce. He arrived on the scene, producing for artists like KayCyy, and then went on to produce the debut album by the Native Sound System - ‘Nativeworld’ which was widely acclaimed within the Alté community. His debut short-form solo release ‘Cruel Love/Vex’ was released the following year and scored him his first number 1 on the Nigerian Dance Charts, followed by ‘Breakfast in Lagos’ his first EP which was also produced the chart topping song ‘Firewood’ featuring Odumodublvck & Valentino Rose. As a music producer, he has worked with a wide array of artists including Kanye West, Cordae, 070Shake, Ayra Starr, Bloody Civilian, Lojay and Boj.

As a DJ and member of the Native Sound System he has played at several international festivals including Red Bull Culture Clash, Art Basel, Homecoming, MIDEM, Afronation and DLT Malta.
