Have you heard the phrase "everything comes in threes"? Such a philosophy is applicable to our newest release From Scratch: Remixed. First, Psalm Trees and ALEXANDER created a self-titled jazz album under the moniker Spirit of Naima. Then, Psalm Trees sampled this album and made a new album of jazzy instrumental beats known as From Scratch. Both of these albums were released on the same day in November 2024. Now, keeping momentum and opening the project up to outside acts, we present From Scratch: Remixed, where nine producers provide their own spin on Psalm Trees and ALEXANDER's unique world-building. Featuring FloFilz, Moose Dawa, Moods, Philanthrope, Mr Slipz, Made in M, SwuM, Slim., and Sraw, this LP completes the trilogy. From standard jazz to jazzhop to remixed beats, this is certainly the most ambitious project we've released so far. Spin all three albums back-to-back-to-back and experience zen.
