Impulse is the debut project from new trio Enough Cereals. Made up of ØDYSSEE, DLJ, and Bastien Brison (by way of Rotterdam, Lyon, and Paris), the seven song instrumental release blends jazzhop with chillhop with hip-hop and everything in between. It's a laid-back and relaxing listening experience from start to finish. Full of organic sounds and a natural chemistry (most of which was recorded in person), you will hear piano melodies, smooth drums, and lively bass lines throughout this calming offering. It's immersive, lush, and perfect for your next stress-free evening. With only a handful of songs out in the world before this release, Impulse is the stand-out debut from an exciting new trio who is here to stay.

In 2023, these three artists visited the Chillhop Music HQ in Rotterdam to record elements of the project in person, complete with a camera to film the experience. With a live performance to accompany the release (with DLJ on the Rhodes, ØDYSSEE on the bass, and Bastien Brison on the keys), as well as limited-edition vinyl, this is a cohesive and inviting experience from start to finish. While this is the first project under the new Enough Cereals name, members DLJ, Bastien Brison, and ØDYSSEE are frequent collaborators and close friends. The three released the seven song project EDAM in early 2023. Distributed through DLJ's instrumental label Retro Jungle Records (of which he is the founder), the project showcases the trio's work ethic and jazz-leaning tendencies. Accessible instrumentals for active listening or to simply soundtrack the backdrop. Although these three didn't have the band's name decided yet, and EDAM appears as simply a collaborative project, it represents the early threads of what would eventually become Enough Cereals. With seven new songs, as well as three loose singles (all released on Chillhop compilations), the ten tracks of Enough Cereals marks a new chapter in the discography of three talented musicians, friends, and collaborators.
