Since 2024, Chillhop Music has released eight songs from the collaborative duo of Sweeps and Luv Pug. The two California-based producers have appeared on numerous of our Essentials compilations as well as Daydreams 3, amassing over eight million streams across DSPs. Through every release, these two provide a comfort level with their lofi instrumentals. Calming beats that feel like spending time with a close friend. Now, for the first time, these frequent collaborators and close friends are releasing a full-length album, Oregon Coast, out next month.

The second (and final) single is "Oceanside", a peaceful and soothing instrumental. With layers of guitars and pianos, this one reminds us of the golden era of lofi beats, back when SoundCloud surfing was more common and algorithms weren't discussed as much. Named after the coastal town in Oregon, this one feels like walking down the beach, taking a nap in the sand, and waking up to some gentle yet comforting rainfall. Transcendent and tender, this track is a nice final offering before the entire album drops on February 10.
