“Sowing Chia Seed” is the newest instrumental from lofi legend HM Surf and it feels like a new season. The track leans into piano-led loops, dusty drums, and a boom bap backbone that doesn’t rush anything. It pulls from classic hip-hop without turning into a history lesson. Warm keys, kicks that hit with purpose, and a groove that just keeps moving.

It’s part of a double single leading up to Essentials Spring 2026, out March 10. The track works well as one to spin when you're trying to shake off that end-of-winter fog.
