Chillhop Music Timezones Vol.2 - Nostalgia uses samples from legendary Soviet film/cartoon soundtracks and jazz compositions to form new lofi beats and hiphop instrumentals. Last year, we launched Chillhop Timezones Vol. 1 with a focus on Central and South America and now we visit the heart of Russia with Vol. 2. With this ongoing series we strive to pay homage to the roots and culture of sampling and to build a musical bridge between old and new.
